1st ROUND PRESIDENTS'TROPHY TUESDAY 23RD AUGUST 2011
Today we played the 1st round of the Presidents' Trophy. We played "PAR"
The weather was magnificent, which everyone appreciated!
Our winners on this beautiful day were:-
B grade :- Pam Scholtz ( handicap 36 ) with a very nice even !- well done Pam!
R/Up was Denise Law ( handicap 35 ) also a nice -1
C grade:- Joan Coombs (handicap 45 ) also a very nice even! Congratulations Joan!

Beautiful Sunny weather brought 9 ladies out to play golf today!!!
We played Par, and our winner was:-
DONNA LOOKER (handicap 36) with an even score - well done Donna!
our runner-up was Leonie Hamilton (handicap 40) with a nice -1 - Congratulations!
NTP - was Sheradyn Johnson ( 1st shot 4th Hole) - watch out for Sheradyn in years to come ! she will be a force to be wreckoned with !!

FLAG DAY 16TH AUGUST 2011
In this Flag Competition the score taken on each hole is entered on a card as in a stroke round. When a player has completed a number of strokes equal to the par of the course plus their stroke handicap they will have finished the round. The first player in each division will carry a flag, and plant it where the ball lay at the finish of their round. If a subsequent player has not finished when they reach the flag, they will then carry it with them- and so on!!
We had quite a fun day, and the victors were:-

Today started a little bit cool but we soon warmed u,p when the sun came out you realised that summer isn't far away.

August Monthly Medal
Hello! Today was monthly medal, as the course was still a bit damp, our Captain Jenny thought we should play stableford today.
No monthly medal winner as it was a tied score so next month they will have a play off.

Ladies Saturday Golf
We have a new Junior member, Sheradyn Johnson, 11 years,
who will make a very good golfer and is very keen.
Sheradyn has been away with the junior Golfers to Anglsea,
and the team she was in won the Ambrose competition. Well done!
She enjoyed her 3 days away playing golf.
A very crisp frosty morning followed by a lovely sunny day,

Well, we are playing again under much better weather conditions. Today (saturday) was a lovely sunny cool day with the sun shining, a bit windy, but much nicer to be able to play golf. Hope the weather keeps fine for us, for next tuesday's game.

Today started off foggy but as the day went on it was much better, the sun came out behind the clouds and it turned out pretty warm.
