Ladies Saturday Golf

 We have a new Junior member, Sheradyn Johnson, 11 years,
who will make a very good golfer and is very keen.
Sheradyn has been away with the junior Golfers to Anglsea,
 and the team she was in won the Ambrose competition. Well done! 
She enjoyed her 3 days away playing golf.

Today 18 ladies played, as the day was quite overcast, it didn't rain but was quite cold and chilly.
We welcome a guest golfer, Sheree Coghill from Cowora Golf Club.

Well, we are playing again under much better weather conditions.  Today (saturday) was a lovely sunny cool day with the sun shining, a bit windy, but much nicer to be able to play golf.  Hope the weather keeps fine for us, for next tuesday's game.

Today started off foggy but as the day went on it was much better, the sun came out behind the clouds and it turned out pretty warm.

Saturday was so cold and wet nobody was brave enough to play.

Tuesday we were going to have our Grandmothers Trophy round of par, but it was sooooo cold only 4 brave ladies played they were very cold when they had finished.
Grandmothers Trophy was put off till next Tuesday so we hope the weather will be kind to us.

No competition today tuesday as the weather forcast was for hail and very heavy rain.

Second Round of the Captain Trophy

What a beautiful day to play the second round of the Captains Trophy.

1st ROUND- CAPTAINS TROPHY - PAR EVENT

24 ladies competed in the first round of this event, although the weather wasa cold and the course quite wet.



Our winners were:-

"B" grade  - Barb Bright off handicap of 30 with a great + 4

Runner up was  Kay Pridgett off handicap of 33 with a nice + 2

"C" grade winners were:-

Jenny Dovison off handicap of 38 with a -1

Runner up was Shirley Gray off handicap 37 with a -4 on countback from Penny McCarthy .

NTP winners were;-

Barb Bright with great 2nd shots on both 6th and 13th Holes.

Pro-Balls were awarded to the following:-

2nd and final round will be stableford and will be played on Tuesday 31st May - Good Luck to all ladies !!

DORIS CHAMBERS FOURSOMES CHAMPIONSHIP- QUALIFYING ROUND

A total of 32  Ladies braved the cold conditions to compete in this event, and the sun did eventually show itself toward the end of the round.


The winners were JEAN HARLE and LEONIE HAMILTON off a combined handicap of 29 with 38 points.

The runners up were SHEREE WETTON and BARB BRIGHT off a handicap of 26 with 35 points on a countback from BARB SARGENT and MAGGIE CLARKE.

Pro-Balls were awarded to the following ladies:-

Jean Harle, Leonie Hamilton, Sheree Wetton, Barb Bright, Barb Sargent, Maggie Clarke, Denise Law, Diane Tullberg.
